Privacy Policy

Overview
RustWasm is a free, open-source learning platform for Rust and WebAssembly. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This site collects minimal data and does not use cookies for tracking.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track individual users, does not collect personal information, and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. Cloudflare Analytics only collects aggregate, anonymized page view data such as page URLs, referrers, browser type, and country. No personal data is stored or processed.
Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to save your preferences and progress. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server. Data stored includes: theme preference (light/dark), lesson completion progress, and privacy consent status. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
When you click "Run" on code examples, your code may be sent to the Rust Playground API (play.rust-lang.org) for compilation. This is operated by the Rust Foundation and is subject to their privacy policy. No code is sent without you explicitly clicking the Run button. Code that uses WebAssembly-specific crates (web_sys, wasm_bindgen) is never sent to any server.
Children's Privacy
This site does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, this applies universally.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
